Subscription & Refund Policy

Try it free first, with clear paid terms
Carver offers a free plan so you can try the service thoroughly before paying. Pro comes with two payment options: the monthly plan can be cancelled anytime with no fixed-term commitment, while the annual plan is a one-year service paid in advance. The renewal, cancellation and refund arrangements for both are set out below.
1. Try before you pay
Before paying, you can use the free plan to browse selected pain points, along with 12 complete Pro analysis samples (including full market-analysis cards and sentiment analysis of real discussions). We believe the value of the product is best judged through your own experience, so we place the trial before payment rather than offering refunds as compensation afterwards.
2. Automatic renewal
Your Pro subscription renews automatically until you cancel:
- Monthly (HKD 168/month): renews automatically each month. No fixed-term commitment; cancel anytime.
- Annual (HKD 1,612/year): one year paid in advance in a single payment (saving about 20% over the full year compared with monthly), renewing automatically at the end of each year and charging the next year's fee.
You can view your next renewal date and cancel at any time on the “Account” page.
All prices are in Hong Kong dollars (HKD). After each successful charge, Stripe sends an electronic receipt to your registered email. If a renewal payment fails (for example, an expired credit card or a declined charge), we may suspend your Pro access until payment succeeds. We may also adjust subscription fees from time to time; any adjustment will only affect the next renewal cycle and will be subject to reasonable advance notice.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel with one click at any time on the “Account” page. Cancellation only stops renewal for the next billing cycle and does not affect the service already activated for your current period:
- Monthly: after cancelling, you can keep using the service until the end of the current month's billing cycle, after which your account automatically reverts to a free membership and you will not be charged from the following month.
- Annual: after cancelling, you can keep using the service until the end of that year's billing cycle, after which your account automatically reverts to a free membership and you will not be charged for the following year.
4. Refunds
Because Pro content is digital information accessible instantly and cannot be returned once viewed, we generally do not provide refunds for a subscription period that has already begun:
- Monthly: the current month's fee, once paid, is non-refundable; you may use the service until the end of the month.
- Annual: the annual fee is prepayment for a one-year service; the annual fee, once paid, is non-refundable; you may use the service until the end of that year.
If you encounter a duplicate charge, a system error or other exceptional circumstances, please email hello@carverhk.com (with “Refund enquiry” in the subject line and your registered email included). We will reply within 3 working days and handle each case individually. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method; bank processing typically takes 5 to 10 working days.
5. Misuse
If an account is found to be in breach of the Terms of Use (for example, mass scraping of platform data for commercial resale, or sharing an account among multiple people), we reserve the right to terminate the service without a refund.
